ash still rains, erupts as an island’s whisper from the deep sea.

back in the aeolian archipelago, we continue building a language with rocks —a further shifting layer in our volcanic drifts.
starting november 6th at 6 p.m. (M.E.Z.), we’ll launch a live radio station, broadcasting a grounding hum —the geophonic whispers of stromboli— until november 11th. upon the steady hum and throughout these days, we’ll improvise live sound and music, beginning with ash rain, our first live performance and encounter with the volcano. we’ll share conversations with stromboliani friends, stories from the archipelago, and read some basaltic stone~words.
